Literature Text

xi: to my lover, weeping willow
let me hear you weep in silence,
shedding tears of pastel pink
as earlier mornings burn your eyes.

arching over grief and shame,
you are lovelier than dewless days
so vulnerable to my teeth;
i promise, i'll bite gently.

let me love the fleeting feathers
and strip them from your skin--
so fresh! i adore the way
it breathes to my touch--
i promise not to leave you
leafless,
not yet.
it's certainly springtime,
after all.
love,
The Wind

xii: blooming in a culture basin
cotton kisses
line my collar;
the sun is impotence,
but heat, heat, heat
endures.
but i'm listening,
listening,
smiling
to this masquerade of languages.
did you know?
cherry blossoms bloom their best
down near the river basin,
rich soil and sweet streams
flood their souls with color.

here, in this diverse dance of
culture,
i'm breathing,
breathing
blooming,
my absolute and utter best.
my soul is full of colors.

xiii
today, she remembered flowers;
they suffocate
without the sun.
and while she is no blossom,
she needs a Son
to breathe.

xx
my mother was a rainbow,
and daddy was her sun.
they needed rain to kiss,
but the clouds would kill their fun.
Because I've been horribly busy, I definitely skipped quite a few days. :iconorzplz:
